COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT The Farmer’s Market is up and running every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Courthouse Square. This summer is poised to be an exciting season for the Market. Along with numerous fruit and vegetable vendors, there are farm fresh eggs and meats, wine, bread, candles, plants and, of course, that great local honey! Come enjoy the sounds of acoustic guitarist Mark Duncan, while strolling through the Market. A Kid Zone has been added where your little ones can play while you shop. There are toys and crafts and children may plant seeds and take them home to watch them grow! In July, the Market will host Summer Fest and on Sept. 16, the Market will be a stop on the annual Kenton County Farm Tour. So, if you haven’t visited the Market yet, put it on your calendar and come support our local farmers/vendors. Don’t forget to check the Farmer’s Market out on Facebook to see what specials and weekly offerings are available.
