Independence City Council - Tom Brinker

Tom Brinker was re-elected to Independence City Council for 2010.

Tom and his wife Patty of 24 years moved to Independence in 1995.  Tom and Patty have two daughter's that attend Summit View Elementary.  Both daughters are involved in many activities with the school and local sports.  Tom is employed by Bertke Electric, Cincinnati as a Journeyman electrician.  Working in this field for more than 25 years.

Tom is President of the Independence Citizens Police Academy.  The academy is very involved with the Independence Police Department and the City of Independence.  Tom has donated a week of his own vacation time from work each year to do all the electric for the Annual 4th of July Festival, for the past 10 years.
